EVENTS

There will be four important events that we are planning:

  1. An International Architects Conference.
  2. An International Architects Exhibits
  3. Conferment Rites for New Filipino APEC Architects
  4. The 4th Central Council Meeting of the APEC Architect Project

Traditionally, we usually hold only Event #4. However, the objectives of the additional Events: #1, #2 and #3 are:

  1. to promote the APEC Architect Project among architects;
  2. to make architects appreciate the meaning and importance of the APEC Architect Project in this era of globalization;
  3. to encourage interaction among APEC Architects of different economies; and
  4. to highlight the works of APEC Architects from different economies and present them to architects and the general public.

The International Conference of Architects

During the International Conference of Architects, architects who are representatives of their home economies to the Central Council and who are themselves in the APEC Architect Registry, will be invited to speak on various topics on the theme: ※ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE IN THIS AGE OF GLOBALIZATION§. Details of the accommodations and appreciation tokens will be included in the invitation letter.

The expected attendees will be mostly Filipino architects but if architects from any economy are interested to attend the event, please inform us so that we may make the proper coordination.

May we request for names and the curriculum vitae of some of the APEC Architects from your economy whom we can invite as speakers.

The International Architects Exhibition

During the International Architects Exhibits, the works of APEC Architects will be featured in an exhibition so that architects and the general public may view and appreciate them.

If these works can be properly composed in electronic format and sent to us, the Philippine Monitoring Committee will take care of their printing in the proper size and their mounting in the exhibits gallery. We will send details in a later communication.

May we request you to communicate with APEC Architects in your economy who might like to join the exhibits.
